Guitarest for the Polecats
Andy has had loads of work done on this guitar but it has been worth it all!
We totally rebuilt these pickups because all the glue had broken down causing feedback and all sorts of problems.
We reglued the coils but reversed one of the magnets, so we could have true humbucking when both pickups being used.
Using reverse magnet, reverse wind we managed to create to fuller sound.
Both pickups are wound in 47 gauge wire and finished sounding great!
We replaced the chrome on the top and bottom of the pickups, which had started to break down, but all the rest is original!
and finally earthed the tailpeice.
