Eko Bass x2 Bespoke Replacement Pick-ups.
Michael brought in this bass and we started out with the idea of just rewinding both pickups, but when I dismantled them we discovered that they were a moulded pickup, cover and coil in one.
So carefully I dismantled the bobbins keeping the covers so the bass would still look original.
Under the covers are 2 bespoke built pickups, using the original magnets but recharging them makes it look like the bass has never been touched.
I wound the pickups to be vinage style but with more power. (hotrod) Both pickups are wax dipped beford the cover's fitted.
All new pots, stereo jack , vintage style cap ect: and a complete re-wire.
