Double Bass for Goldstar - rock 'n' roll band
shown with his Hotrod gretsch which we rewound both pickup on and Phil's Gretsch which we rewired with new pots and bleed caps.
both instruments also had stereo jack's and reinforcing plates.
Darren was never happy with the sound from this guitar, so I ripped the pickups apart and rewound them both.
vintage on the neck but a load more beef on the bridge pickup (hotrod) leaving Darren with a guitar he was at last happy with!
we also put a bleed cap on Darren's volume pot. (keeping treble when turned down)
